Beautiful Word Devotional #120
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:32
God made the supreme sacrifice on your behalf when he sent his Son to die for your sins. The love that compelled that gift of his Son further compels him to bless you with even more. Not only are your sins forgiven, but you also are granted a brand-new life. You are healed and given hope and joy.
Look at your life today.
What traits do you need to live in a way that glorifies and honors God? Do you need more patience? Greater trust in God? Less worrying? Know that God loves to answer your prayers. He loves to give good gifts to you. He will grow in you the traits you’re longing for when you ask him.
Now consider whom you need to forgive, but are struggling to. Ask God to enable you to forgive as he has forgiven you. He will help you.
Lord, thank you that you generously give good gifts. Your only Son to die on my behalf and your gracious forgiveness were just the beginning! Thank you!
