You’re Never Alone

The LORD your God . . . will neither fail you nor abandon you.

In the dark hours of the night, do you feel desperately alone and rejected? Perhaps a best friend deserted you, the marriage you hoped for never materialized, or the person you’re married to now wants out. Maybe your child has turned against you or your parents and friends don’t seem to care about you. But God says, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you” (Isaiah 43:5). He, too, was “acquainted with deepest grief” (Isaiah 53:3). The Lord promises to love you and stay with you no matter what.
