Your Uncontested Victory
If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
The forces of evil can’t stand Jesus or even bear to hear his name. If you’re living so that others will clearly see Jesus in you, there is bad news and good news. The bad news is that you will face opposition and even persecution for your faith. Satan opposes Jesus, so Satan is your enemy too. The good news is that even when the whole world is against you, God is for you. He promises to give you spiritual victories in this life and ultimate, eternal victory in his heavenly Kingdom.
Bathe Yourself in Love
Today, commemorate a small victory in your life. Perhaps you made a healthy choice, finally finished a burdensome task, or kept a boundary you set. Celebrate by doing something you enjoy. For example, go to dinner with a friend, buy the good ice cream, or curl up and relax with a good book.
