Let Comfort Surround You

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

It’s easy to look to people or things to comfort us in our distress. But God’s Word tells us that he alone is the true source of comfort. God’s assuring love, his guiding wisdom, and his sustaining power will carry us through our troubles. And one day, our experience of God’s comfort will help us comfort others.
