If you ever get a chance to go to Oxford, Mississippi, on a Saturday in the fall, you will never be the same. The Grove, Ole Miss’s legendary tailgate spot, is filled with thousands and thousands of Rebel fans dressed to the nines and excited for another chance to enter Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to see their Ole Miss Rebels engage in another epic SEC showdown.

The Grove is like no other tailgate I have ever been to. The anticipation of kickoff is in the air. You hear the chant of “Hotty-Totty” and then see the football team process through the “Walk of Champions” into the stadium. The food is rich and readily shared from fan to fan. The southern sweets are unparalleled.

Just like there is no place like the Grove, there is nothing as satisfying to your soul as wisdom. Proverbs 24:13-14 states, “My child, eat honey, for it is good, and the honeycomb is sweet to the taste. In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short.” The Scripture declares that God’s wisdom is that by which the kings of the earth rule and reign. It says that God’s wisdom is better than fine gold and choice silver. At one point in Solomon’s teaching in Proverbs 4:7 he says, “Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.” Take your own walk of champions by getting wisdom. When you do, you will never be the same!
