steadfastness - How can I remain steadfast for God through seasons of unanswered prayers?

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST challenges the Lord may give us is to stay steadfast in our faith during a season of unanswered prayers. We fail at these tests when we lose perspective about God’s bigger plans for us and lose our trust in him. Remaining steadfast means learning to endure patiently in faith. Do you have prayers that remain unanswered? Continue to pray courageously as you wait for God to answer. Sometimes he graciously chooses to answer prayers with an astounding “Yes!” Other times, he answers them in ways we never expect. Yet we can be confident that God will always answer in his timing. Whatever you have been praying for, don’t give up. God can be trusted with your prayers. He promises to faithfully answer earnest prayers with wonderful results.
