Blame
blame - How can I stop blaming myself or others when things go wrong?
He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns.
1 Corinthians 1:8
He has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
Colossians 1:22
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
Lamentations 3:23
Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.
Isaiah 50:7
IT’S SO EASY for us to blame ourselves or others when things go wrong. Assigning blame can dominate our thoughts, turn our perspective negative, and lead our hearts toward discouragement, anger, and bitterness. We need to stop the blame game, letting go of the “what ifs” and “if onlys”. If you have brought disappointment upon yourself, ask for forgiveness and move on. If someone else has caused you pain, ask the Lord to help you forgive them. God doesn’t want you to dwell on what could have been; he wants you to focus on what can be. He is the God of hope who gives you the gift of a new day, full of fresh starts.
