A prayer of Remembrance

When I remember what God has done for me

Lord,

Today I pause to reflect on where I’ve been, where I am now, and where I am going. I’m so thankful for all you have done in my life. May I never forget your work of love and mercy. Today, Lord, I will speak of your faithfulness. And may I build a legacy of faith for future generations.

I will teach you hidden lessons from our past—stories we have heard and known, stories our ancestors handed down to us. We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders. Psalm 78:1-4
