A prayer in Spiritual Dryness

When I have lost my enthusiasm for God

Lord,

I seldom feel passion anymore. I confess that I have allowed the challenges of life to drain my enthusiasm for you, and I have grown restless and weary on my spiritual journey. I don’t want to just go through the motions, Lord. Show me the plans you have for me, and the simple ways I can serve you each day. Help me seize this very day to show your love to someone else.

You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. Hebrews 3:13
