A prayer for Affirmation

When I seek assurance from God

Lord,

I find assurance in knowing that you created me to be in fellowship with you. You ransomed me from the pit, even to the point of sacrificing your own Son to die for all people. Lord, I want to be all that you created me to be. Help me to realize where I have believed the lies of the world that lure me to seek my worth in unworthy things. I long to realize how fully you love and value me, O God.

We know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:5
