A prayer of Praise

When I long to praise God

O Lord,

You are the creator and sustainer of life. You are worthy of my highest praise! You made the heavens, placed the planets and stars in motion, and breathed life into every human being. Yet you desire a personal relationship with me! I am awed. I am overwhelmed by your greatness. Most mighty God, may I always respond to you with adoration, joy, and praise.

Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the LORD made the heavens! 1 Chronicles 16:25-26
