A prayer about Sustenance - Needing daily bread

GOD,

Every breakfast reminds me of your daily provision, new every morning. Jesus said to ask for the “food we need” today. Much as I would like to store up supplies for the future, I must depend on you each and every day—just as the Israelites had to depend on you for their daily supply of manna. So today, Lord, I ask for your spiritual, emotional, and physical sustenance.

Give us today the food we need. Matthew 6:11
