LORD,

Although David would eventually commit adultery and then hide his sin by having the husband killed, you called him “a man after [your] own heart.” That gives me hope because I, too, am seriously flawed. David repented, returned to you, and was a great king. Forgive me and remake me, Lord. I want to accomplish great things for you.
