A prayer about Receptivity - Being ready to accept what you have for me
DIVINE SPIRIT,
Regrettably, sometimes I go to church as a duty or habit or to see friends. And if I’m in a bad mood, I sit in worship with my arms folded across my chest, almost daring someone to speak to me. Forgive me. Fill me and teach me. Draw me close. I come today with hands out and open, ready to receive all you have for me.
You refuse to come to me to receive this life. John 5:40
