GOD,

This verse states that persecution is inevitable for all those who live for Christ. So if I am not experiencing opposition right now, either it is on the way or I’m not fully committed. Keep me close, Lord, doing your will. And prepare me for the verbal and physical abuse that comes to all who live godly lives.

Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 2 Timothy 3:12
