GOD,

False teachers have plagued your people for millennia. Throughout Scripture I read your warnings to be alert to those people. And they are prevalent today—preaching, teaching, writing, and deceiving many. Thank you for giving me a pastor who knows Jesus, trusts you, and proclaims the Word. I am blessed.

These wise teachers will fall into the trap of their own foolishness, for they have rejected the word of the LORD. Are they so wise after all? Jeremiah 8:9
