SAVIOR,

You had harsh words for the Pharisees, those ultrareligious leaders who were quick to judge, who thought they were holier and better than everyone else. I admit to those tendencies, especially at church. Keep me from that sin, reminding me that I am simply another sinner saved by grace.

What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore justice and the love of God. Luke 11:42
