A prayer about Church Politics - Finding unity

JESUS,

I am so tired of politics in the church—people taking sides; some threatening to leave if they don’t get their way; whisper campaigns and power plays. Forgive us, Lord. Bring us back to you in humility, honoring one another. Heal our divisions. As you prayed, may we “be one.”

I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one . . . so that the world will believe you sent me. John 17:21
