A prayer about Christ’s Home - Knowing he lives in me

PRECIOUS SAVIOR,

This morning I pray that I will fully depend on you. I want you to be at home in me and controlling every aspect of my life not only on this day but for as long as I live. The more I understand your unconditional and eternal love for me, the more I rest in it, finding strength and understanding and “fullness of life and power.” Your love is wide, covering the breadth of my daily experience. When I am at home, in traffic, in the gym, at work, in a store, at church—everywhere—your love covers me. Your love is long, lasting through my lifetime and beyond. Your love is high, enveloping my emotional peaks and joys. You celebrate with me, even as you guide me along the right path. And your love is deep, reaching to the depths of my sorrow and grief.

Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. . . . Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:17-19
