A Prayer About Seeing Needs

When I need to look through the Savior’s eyes

JESUS,

Surrounded by multitudes, you reached out to individuals. Whatever the label—Pharisee, fisherman, leper, prostitute—you saw the person, someone who was hurting and needing you. I can easily dismiss whole groups of people, but you touched them all. Give me your vision, Savior. Help me see people’s real needs and serve them with your selfless love.

The King will say, “I tell you the truth, when you [helped] one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” Matthew 25:40
