A Prayer About Perseverance

When I consider my life of faith

PRECIOUS SAVIOR,

You endured the Cross—nothing I face compares to your physical pain and the agony of bearing all our sin. Yet I often let minor setbacks push me off course or I allow sins to trip me. I want to run this life race for you and with you. Please give me strength and resolve to run well and finish strong.

Let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. Hebrews 12:1
