A Prayer About Confidence

When I feel unsure

SOVEREIGN LORD,

I can be tentative—insecure and afraid. You hold me in your loving hands, so why do I ever fail to trust you? I am weak; you are strong. I am finite; you are infinite. My perspective and resources are limited; you see and own everything. I want to live in confidence, knowing that you are with me, sensing your presence. Please give me strength. Help me to boldly live for you.

Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. Isaiah 30:15
