A Reflection On Submission

When I remember that God’s will is what’s best for me

Are you convinced that God’s will is in your best interest? The Christian life will be a struggle until we know deep down in our hearts that His commands—even the hard ones—are ultimately for our benefit. Our happiness is deeper when we listen to Him. In that sense, it is a self-fulfilling act to forsake our own will and submit to His. When we serve Him, we serve ourselves. Believe that wholeheartedly, and see what happens.

If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it.
