A Reflection On Sacrifice

When I wonder about the cost of discipleship

If you believe you are walking as a disciple, and there seems to be no sacrifice in your discipleship, check again. Somewhere, you are missing His voice. There is always an element of cost. God accepts only the best of our resources. As living sacrifices (Romans 12:1), our offerings will cost us dearly—the very best of who we are. But they also bring us blessing—the very best of who He is.

If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.
