A Reflection On Pursuing The Lost

When I need encouragement to share God’s love with others

We may sometimes think that in our relationship with God, we were the pursuers and He was the recluse. But this is not so. Jesus is the pursuer incarnate. As in the story of the Prodigal Son, the Father goes to the older brothers of the world and pleads. We live in a world of many who refuse to understand God. Still, the Father goes and pleads. He sent His Son for this purpose. And His Son sends us.

The older brother was angry and wouldn’t go in. His father came out and begged him.
