A Reflection On God’s Will
A reflection on God’s Will
When I want to pray with power
Praying “Thy will be done” is not to be a statement of resignation. It is an appropriate deferral to God’s higher plan and much more. We are not only saying “not my will,” we are also saying “not the enemy’s will.” Wherever human tendencies or a corrupt world comes into conflict with the revealed will of God, Jesus gives us a call to arms: pray for God’s will to be done.
May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:10
