A Reflection On God’s Reality

When I need to base my faith on the power of God

Is your faith realistic? It shouldn’t be—not by the world’s standards, anyway. It should be completely in line with the will and the ways of God, but it should not conform to the world’s expectations. Jesus ignores the ridicule of an unbelieving crowd, just as He did before He healed Jairus’s daughter (see Mark 5:35-43). We should too. Faith knows things they don’t know. God’s reality is higher than human expectations—always. Raise your expectations to reflect His reality.
