A Reflection On God’s Character

When I realize I can’t fully understand God

We can count on God’s character. We know He is holy, righteous, omniscient, omnipotent, loving, merciful, and more. He and His Word are forever reliable. Yet no one can explain Him fully. That can be unsettling, because we like explanations. But a god we can explain isn’t God. Remember that when your life seems out of control. It isn’t. It is under the hand of the mysterious, mighty God.

Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.

Ecclesiastes 11:5
