A Reflection On Being Renewed

When I want to put on my new nature

Are you reluctant to place both feet firmly in the Kingdom of God? Do you try to hang on to remnants of your former citizenship? Let them go. The way to advance in your new Kingdom is to be reclothed in your new nature. It’s a daily process of denying deceitful desires and saturating ourselves in a new attitude. We become like God in righteousness and holiness. There is no greater wisdom than this.

Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life. . . . Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

Ephesians 4:22, 24
