A Reflection On Becoming Like God

When I need to know more of God’s character

As God’s children, we are called to be like Him. Whom God loves, we are also to love. Those impurities in ourselves that God despises, we are also to despise. His way is to become our way. Study God’s character in Scripture. Examine His tenderness and compassion, His holiness, His hatred of evil, and His love. As we see Him as our standard, let us also see the radical transformation that must take place as we grow to be like Him.

The Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
