You, The Artist
You, the Artist
Everyone should be an artist.
You could write a blog for friends or you could publish a book. You could learn how to paint landscapes or you could decorate your home. You could join a choir or sing Christmas carols in nursing homes. You could learn how to create beautiful pottery or restore a classic automobile.
Part of developing yourself as a person who matters is to explore how to express yourself artistically.
You’ll soon discover what you have a passion and talent for and what you don’t. But even in the areas where it’s clear you don’t have a strong talent, it’s still important to at least try different art forms. These will stretch your vision for how to see the world creatively and how to live creatively.
Don’t worry. It’s part of who you are. Pick up your pen, clean your paintbrush, warm up your vocals, and get started.
Ready. Set. Create.
