One Small Kindness At A Time

One Small Kindness at a Time

Most often, love isn’t rocket science.

It can be as simple as greeting someone with a smile or asking the cashier how his day’s been going or telling him that you appreciate the job he’s doing. You may be shocked at the results.

Aren’t you uplifted when someone reaches out to you with even the smallest kindness, especially when it’s unexpected? Try doing the same for others.

You’re not going to turn into Mother Teresa overnight. You’ll love in the way only you can. But even Mother Teresa didn’t love like Mother Teresa (based on our image of her superhuman feats of love). She loved others mostly with small kindnesses, and small kindnesses can collect into a lifetime of love.

Being a loving person is indeed a journey. Choosing to love others happens one small kindness at a time.

Do everything in love. —1 Corinthians 16:14
