Dying To Live

Dying to Live

Do you want to live life to the fullest? Do you want to really live?

Then you need to be willing to die for it.

You first have to die to your need to just survive. You have to kill off the fear that paralyzes and live for what’s new and challenging. You have to pronounce dead the tyranny of the urgent and live for joy and refreshment. You have to trade the superficial for what enriches, your pauper status for nobility, and the possible for the impossible.

The death you have to die isn’t a meaningless death. It’s a death that leads to life above and beyond the life you’ve imagined.

The God who offers you life at its fullest died so you could live. Die to the idea that you are just a rat in a race, and choose to live above and beyond for Him.

“Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.” —Mark 8:35
