All for One and One for All

A husband and wife can live under the same roof and not really be married. They show up in public together, but in their private world, they’re no more than roommates. They live separate lives in close proximity.

This happens in families as well. Parents may spend some quality time with their children in the early years. But when they’re older, the parents live their lives, and the children live theirs. This family is not a family.

Of course, you can change this at any time. You can eat together, pray together. You can play together. You can let your children know that they belong, that they aren’t going through life alone. You can start early if you still have small children. If your children are older, you can get to know each other again.

If two can become one, so can a family. Enjoy each other again.
