21:12–13 Loving Service Loving his disciples as he always has, Jesus provides and serves breakfast to them after a night of unfruitful work. This time no one refuses his service.

21:15–19 Restored to Serve Peter’s love for the Lord must find expression in his care for God’s flock. Once he denied Jesus in order to protect his life; now he must dedicate his life to others. Like Jesus he will be crucified for God’s glory. The call to follow Jesus is a summons to share his destiny.
