What are some of the victories I can achieve day by day? - Victory - TouchPoints
Joshua 1:8Study this Book of the Law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed.
Psalm 119:54When you consistently obey God’s Word, you will experience victory over your fears, over Satan’s tactics to derail your relationship with God, and ultimately, over sin and death.
Romans 4:20Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.
1 Peter 1:7These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.
If you can trust God with your pain, confusion, and loneliness, you will win a spiritual victory because you will have defended yourself against the temptation of the enemy to let anger, bitterness, or discouragement defeat you. The next time you face trouble or hardship, see it as an opportunity to be victorious over it by relying on God for strength and endurance.
Psalm 4:8I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.
Psalm 29:11The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.
God’s peace does not prevent you from encountering difficulties, but it gives you victory over them.
1 Chronicles 28:20Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work . . . is finished correctly.
The only true failure is that which utterly defeats you and makes you unable to try again. Failure wins when you accept defeat and give up. If you are doing God’s work, attack the task with strength and courage and God will give you victory.
