Philippians 4:2-3Now I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. They worked along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are written in the Book of Life.

Conflicts and tensions occur even among godly believers. Euodia and Syntyche both served alongside Paul in sharing the gospel, yet they’d fallen into a pattern of personal conflict and disagreement. It’s easy to find things about others that rub us the wrong way, but when we fixate on those things, it causes bitterness to simmer, and soon conflict bubbles from beneath the surface. Forbearance—a patient, humble, and forgiving attitude towards others—has the power to calm many conflicts.
Proverbs 3:3Never let loyalty and kindness get away from you! Wear them like a necklace; write them deep within your heart.

Luke 6:35Love your enemies! Do good to them! Lend to them! And don’t be concerned that they might not repay. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to the unthankful and to those who are wicked.
Proverbs 25:21If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink.
Matthew 5:47If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that.
God calls us to act with love, kindness, and forgiveness, even to those who are rude or ungrateful.
