How can I turn taking into giving?

Deuteronomy 10:14The highest heavens and the earth and everything in it all belong to the Lord your God.

Psalm 50:10For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills.

James 1:17Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heaven’s lights. Unlike them, he never changes or casts shifting shadows.

Romans 12:6-8God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that God is speaking through you. If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching. If your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

1 Timothy 6:17-18Tell those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which will soon be gone. But their trust should be in the living God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and should give generously to those in need, always being ready to share with others whatever God has given them.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

We cannot give what we have not first received. So if we want to be givers, we must first gladly and humbly take what God wants to give us. When wew thankfully accept all that God gives us, we will then want to share faithfully, generously, and joyfully with others.

John 3:16"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

1 John 4:19We love each other because he loved us first.

John 13:34So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.

Ephesians 3:18And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

God’s love, especially his love expressed through Christ’s sacrifice, is the greatest gift we can receive. It is also the greatest gift we can share with others. When we recognize how deeply loved we are by God, it overflows from us into a love for others. This love is not a love of mere sentiment or a love of mere duty—it is a powerful, passionate, and selfless love like the love Christ offered on the cross.
