Romans 11:6And if they are saved by God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s wonderful kindness would not be what it really is—free and undeserved.

1 John 4:7-11Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. Kindness to others is a response to God’s overflowing kindness to us.

Galatians 5:22But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us . . . kindness . . .Kindness is planted in us by the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 1:9It is God who saved us and chose us to live a holy life. He did this not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan long before the world began—to show his love and kindness to us through Christ Jesus.
