How do I become humble?

Deuteronomy 8:2-3Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether or not you would obey his commands. Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna. . . . He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone . . .

Humility comes when you recognize that you need God. Then watch him meet your needs!

1 Peter 3:8Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

Humility comes from developing a sympathetic and tender heart toward others.

Philippians 2:3Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.
