How does God give?

1 Timothy 2:6He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.

God gives sacrificially. He gave his Son, Jesus, to become human and give up his own life to give you eternal life.

2 Corinthians 8:9You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.

God gives unselfishly. He shares everything he has with you.

2 Corinthians 9:8And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

Ephesians 3:20Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

God gives generously and abundantly. His gifts to you are beyond imagination.

Joel 2:23Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness.

God gives graciously and never begrudges any good thing to his children.

1 Corinthians 12:11It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

God gives personally. He plans thoughtful gifts according to your abilities and your character.

God gives without discrimination. He made people of all nations, tribes, dialects, races, and ethnic groups and sees them as equal.

James 1:5If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

God gives without resentment. He is a joyful, cheerful giver.

Romans 11:29For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.

God gives without the threat of rescinding. His gifts are “forever gifts.”
