Can anyone be excused for not accepting the Lord?

Philippians 2:10-11At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

People have all kinds of excuses for avoiding God—being too busy, having other priorities, blaming God for their hardships, not wanting to give up their favorite vices, or even not knowing where to begin. Those excuses will not hold up when we see God face-to-face.

Romans 1:20Ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Everyone has seen the testimony of nature, God’s work, which the Bible says reveals the hand of an Almighty Creator. That alone witnesses to his presence and power. People who fail to come to terms with God are truly without excuse.
