1 Thessalonians 1:4We know, dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people.

God chose you to be his adopted child because he loves you.

Ephesians 1:5God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Adopting you as his child has always been part of God’s plan since the beginning of time.

1 Peter 2:9But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

God has adopted you to radiate his goodness to others.
