Our focus should be on becoming more like Christ, adapting to what he wants for us, not what we want for ourselves. As we study and meditate on God’s Word, seek him in prayer, and learn to listen to the Holy Spirit’s prompting, we grow more familiar with our Good Shepherd. This familiarity teaches us to recognize his voice and discern what is true, for all truth comes from him..

We should be aware of the company we keep and the influence others can have on us.

Even if we have made wrong turns in the past, God still desires a relationship with us today. He will set our feet on the right path and help us to adapt to that which is right and good.
