Jesus' Words for the Weary - Bible Reading Plan

Jesus told his disciples that the words he speaks are spirit and life (John 6:63). What he meant was that the Holy Spirit works powerfully through his words—both then and now. If you need someone to speak words of life, comfort, and encouragement over you, then this is the perfect plan to begin. Spend the next five days exploring what Jesus said to those who needed his counsel the most. As you read, imagine him speaking these same blessings of encouragement over you, too.
