Discovering the Discipline of Celebration - Bible Reading Plan

If you are tempted to believe God is serious all the time, read the following verse from Zephaniah 3:17, “For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs (NLT).” Our God is one who delights over creation with gladness, rejoices with joyful songs, and desires for us to do the same. Spend the next seven days studying how celebration is a theme interwoven throughout Scripture. Discipline yourself to take a break this week to celebrate something while remembering that it is just a taste of the joy that is to come.
