God’s Power At Work Within You - In the Morning When I Rise

Lord, what does it mean that I have power as a follower of Christ?

I am working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases me. I give power to the weak and strength to the powerless. With my help you will do mighty things. I am able, through my mighty power at work within you, to accomplish infinitely more than you might ask or think. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at my right hand in the heavenly realms.

How do I experience this power?

This is the secret: Christ lives in you. The Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. From my glorious, unlimited resources I will empower you with inner strength through my Spirit.

What can I pray to understand the greatness of your power within me?

Lord, I pray that I will understand the incredible greatness of your power for those who believe you. I know that you will answer me from your holy heaven and rescue me by your great power. For you are working in me, giving me the desire and the power to do what pleases you.
