God Doesn’t Make Mistakes - Habits of the Heart

God Doesn’t Make Mistakes

What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.

Psalm 8:4-5

Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.

Romans 8:38

The enemy often tries to make us discontent with who we are. Read the above verses again. With these words in mind, remind yourself of how God sees you—as a unique human he created, cares for, and loves deeply. He crowns you with glory and honor.

Thankfulness grows your contentment, so take time to thank God for how he made you and how much he loves you. Write these words on a piece of paper: “Lord, thank you for making me just the person you wanted me to be.” Carry it with you all day, reading it often.
