Actions

My Question for God

How can my actions make me beautiful?

A Moment with God

Women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.

1 Timothy 2:10

Even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over by observing your pure and reverent lives. Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They trusted God and accepted the authority of their husbands.

1 Peter 3:1-5

Beautiful conduct is the fruit of godly thoughts and godly character. A woman with godly character knows her value in God’s eyes and embraces the work he has given her to do. There is nothing more beautiful than a woman at peace with God and confident in her God-given abilities and tasks. Her actions are beautiful because she gently meets the needs of others around her. When you work on cultivating your inward beauty, by focusing your attention on eternal matters and on what God says is most important, the beauty of your actions will encourage others and ring throughout eternity.

Divine Promise

Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised.

Proverbs 31:30
