For Boldness - Called to Pray
For Boldness WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME you asked God for something big? I mean for something far beyond what you thought was probable or deserving? Too often, Christians pray for the minimum. We pray for strength for the day and provision for a bill. But what if we prayed with boldness? Not for the minimum, but for the maximum—infinitely more than what we usually ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). God has given us permission to boldly come before his throne (Hebrews 4:16). By faith, we can receive complete healing and all-encompassing blessings, and every mountain can be moved. Jesus told his disciples, “You don’t have enough faith. . . . I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible” (Matthew 17:20). So go ahead and ask the Lord for your biggest, most audacious, I don’t deserve this desire. He’s daring you to pray with bold faith. May God pass on to you and your descendants the blessings he promised to Abraham. The boldness of my faith is rooted in the power of my God. Dear Lord, It’s hard to imagine that my faith has immeasurable power, but I choose to believe your Word and boldly pray: Let your maximum favor and provision fall upon every area of my life. Not only for today—but for every day—and upon the descendants who come after me. I boldly ask that you make blessed my first name and highly favored my last. In Jesus’ name, amen. “Boldly come before his throne.”STRENGTH IN THE WORD
